Adding a New Environment

An environment is the database that Sentinel will be connecting to. A SYSADM type account will be required for each PeopleSoft database that Sentinel will be used on. 

*Ask your Database Administrator to clone the SYSADM account for each environment and provide the Login credentials and connection information shown below.

  1. Select the Admin menu at the top of the page.
  2. Click on the Add Environment button in the top right.
  3. Enter the database account credentials and connection information.
  4. Click Test Connection. If connection is successful, click on Create.

If you receive an error, send the error to your DBA and have them verify that the Account is active and that their is connectivity between the Sentinel host serve and the PeopleSoft database server.
