Adding a New Environment

An environment is the database that Sentinel will be connecting to. A SYSADM User Account will require a database account is required for each PeopleSoft environment that you wish to access.

*Ask your Database Administrator to create the account and provide the credentials and information shown below.

1. Select the Admin menu at the top of the page.

2. Click on the Add Environment button in the top right.

3. Enter the database account credentials and connection information.

4. Click Test Connection. If connection is successful, click on Create.

If you receive an error, send the error to your DBA and have them verify that the Account is active and that their is connectivity between the Sentinel host serve and the PeopleSoft database server.
